Parishioners of IHMP celebrated last Holy Week with much enthusiasm and meaning. Each one remembered the passion and death of our Lord and how He suffered tremendously to save mankind from sin and to show His great love for us. Everybody took part in the celebration of holy masses starting Palm Sunday and during the Easter Triduum. Several parishioners watched and participated in the human re-enactment of the Stations of the Cross starting from the BEC areas to the church grounds. Thanks to the dedication and creativity of our very own Parish Youth Ministry many people were moved to tears as they were watching the passion and death of our Lord Jesus. Several meaningful activities happened during the weeklong festivity such as the Kumpisalang Bayan, Pabasa, Altar of Repose Vigil, Santo Entierro Procession, Lighting Ceremony, Salubong and Easter Egghunt for our young children. Indeed, as we celebrated our Lord’s suffering, we also remembered that His resurrection on the third day means that someday, we too, will join His banquet in Heaven, our true home.
