The new officers of the Media Ministry of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish were commissioned during the 11:00am mass held last August 7, 2016 by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Lito Ancla, CMF. The ministry’s role and mission is to help build a more active and dynamic parish church. Through the creation of the IHMP quarterly newsletter called “ALAB” and the soon to be launched IHMP website, the parishioners will be readily informed of the latest news, activities and services the parish has to offer. At the same time, parishioners will also be given the opportunity to be more supportive and pro-active in joining the different Ministries, Organizations and BEC Communities.
The Media Ministry is composed of the following officers, namely:

LAUNCHING OF “ ALAB “ NEWSLETTER
Last August 6 & 7, 2016, our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Lito Ancla, CMF together with the newly created Media Ministry finally launched the first issue of the IHMP quarterly newsletter called “ALAB”. According to Fr. Lito, who was the brains behind the name explained that “ALAB” is the Filipino word for “flame” as seen in the image of the Immaculate Heart of Mary burning on fire with love for God, the Father and her Son Jesus. The fire signifies the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in her motherly heart full of love for us her children. We parishioners are called to imitate Mary our model and mother in our love for Jesus and people especially the poor and the needy. “ALAB” shows our passion to know, love, serve, praise and follow the Lord like Mary and Claret. It is the fire that moves us in sharing the mission of building up God’s kingdom.
All the issues of “ALAB” will be posted on the soon-to-be launched IHMP website this September. We hope that with the emergence of the newsletter and parish website, these information tools will not only help build more energetic and active parishioners but it will also enlighten the public of the various projects, missionary work, advocacies and future plans of our parish church.
